As I continue my summer project, I created these two cards based upon the same idea. When I am working on cards, I often make them in sets...once I figure out the measurements, it doesn't take much time to cut a few extra pieces. Alas, my supplies got in the way today though. I only had a certain number of flowers in each color and then my green flowers were larger than my yellow flowers so I needed to make some changes. I changed the orientation and modified the sentiments, but still definitely ended up with two related items that I'm happy with.

One Card--Two Ways

Stampin' for the High Seas
Again this summer, I am working on a project to send cards to US sailors who are deployed overseas. This is the first card that I created for my project.
I played around with a couple of different ideas, but ended up going with a hostess set of paper from Stampin' Up and a Hero Arts stamp set I purchased at Christmas time but had yet to find a use for--who doesn't love Cotton Candy?!?!?!(thank you to person I live with that thinks it's a large kid with hat and one of those streamer horns that unravels when you blow on it).

Congrats on a New Little One to Love...
I made this card for some friends who recently had a baby. The card was an "under 15" card (hand cutting takes FOREVER!) I cut the 'onesies' from a piece of DP and used rub-on letters to create the greeting. Ever yother letter is mounted on dimensionals to give it some shape. I also included 'onesies' with letters on the inside of the card that spell the baby's name, along with an internal greeting that is the title of this post.
